You can use Internet Banking to pay, so this is very easy.

I actually made a mistake by trying to make my payments at URA’s website. They said there was no record of my car at all, and I called the hotline. The guy told me that it was under HDB when I mentioned that I was currently using the RFID Tag, this particular tag that has a chip and no other details. You can use the same tag even when you change cars or move to another flat, so there will not be any additional charges.

All you have to do is to go to http://www.hdb.gov.sg/ and click on the HDB e-Payment. If you cannot remember your car park number, just click on Locate your HDB Car Parks online and key in your postal code. With this information, you can apply with the following information. Just click on  Renewal of Season Parking Ticket.
      (i) Applicant’s NRIC No.
      (ii) Applicant’s Internet Banking User ID / PIN or Credit Card Particulars
      (iii) Applicant’s Bank Account No.
      (iv) Car Park No. of Parking place

Apple Fans Rush to Stores as IPhone Makes U.S. Debut (Update1)

By Connie Guglielmo June 30 (Bloomberg) — Apple Inc.’s iPhone debuted to crowds in U.S. cities from New York to San Francisco last night as shoppers snapped up the handset and praised its slim design.

I watched that on TV and there were so many people queuing up for the phone. One man bought an iPhone and immediately he sold it to another person for US$1000 more. This man had almost tripled his investment within a short period of time. This is better than buying and selling stocks.

Those in Asia will have to wait until next year to get their hands on the phones. If you are able to buy iPhones, one way to make money is to sell it on Ebay. I’m sure there will be huge interest in the secondary market. This debut is just like Harry Potter’s book launches in the past, and I’m sure when the final book is released, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows , people everywhere will be queuing up to get the book.

According to a Chinese news station, there is already a similar phone in China and it seemed just as great as iPhone. However, iPhone has greater brand awareness and even Steve Jobs acknowledged that there are similar phones with touch screen, but iPhone promises to beat the user experience. They are also planning to hold a free workshop on how to use the phone.

If you are one of the few who managed to get National Day tickets, perhaps you can sell the tickets, though it is against the regulations to do so. Assuming you spend $2 on transportation to get your tickets, you can stand to make a profit of 125 times since somebody is touting the tickets for $250. That is awesome.

Making money is all about finding what people really want and fulfilling that need.
