Prices of Food Goes Up

Prices of basic necessities and food have gone up. Malaysia has banned the export of certain basic food items, because a large number of goods have ended up in Thailand. With the upcoming CNY, increase in demand of food will result in increase in prices, if supplies do not increase.

For those in the food and beverage business, such costs are unexpected, and they cannot pass on the prices to their customers immediately. As such, they may require small loans for cash flow during festive seasons or expansion of business. Interest paid on restaurant financeare tax deductible in the US. Usually terms are up to 18 months.
