Cab Fares Increase

Sometimes, you just can’t win. Taxi drivers complained of rising fuel and they asked for fare increases. Passengers complained they couldn’t get cabs. Taxi companies decided to profit from it and thus they increased the flag down prices and booking fees. In addition, the metre will jump faster. After that was implemented, passengers complained it was too expensive, and taxi drivers complained that they couldn’t get passengers, and earnings had fallen. Yet, taxi companies said their drivers were making money.

Since oil prices are unlikely fall, transportation fees will definitely go up. For those who take public transport, I wonder how you are affected. I’m really unable to discuss this because I probably take cabs less than 5 times a year. How much more money do you have to pay for your usual cab fares?
