Rabbit meat! (Who eats rabbit meat?) Pedigree bull semen and cow embryos?! Potato starch? Toll roads? Dimethyl ether? What do all these have in common? They are businesses which belong to China companies listed in Singapore. You don’t need to be a record scientist to list your company. If you can figure out ways to make money out of Aedes mosquitoes, and do it really well, you can list your company on the stock exchange and become a multi-millionaire. Anyway, this is the second part of the compilation of 50 companies on the FTSE China Index.

17. China Kangda Food – engages in the manufacture and marketing of chicken meat, rabbit meat, aquatic and seafood products, and seasonings. It offers chilled and frozen chicken and rabbit meat, cooked chicken and rabbit, frozen soup, normal temperature soup, chicken rice, meat ball, chestnut, and pet foods. The company also provides various ready to-eat food products, such as curry products, de-oxygenated consumer packed chestnuts, fried chicken wings, fried chicken drumstick, roasted/barbequed rabbit meat, instant seafood, vegetable products, and soup products, as well as engages in the deep-processing of meat chicken and meat rabbit.
