FTSE ST China Index Companies Part 1
FTSE ST China Index will be launced in January 2008, but a trial run will begin on Monday. This index measures 50 China counters. This will represent the performance of Singapore-listed companies that are at least 30 percent owned by the mainland Chinese government, non-government-linked Chinese companies, or mainland China residents or nations.
A compilation of the various companies listed is done for you. For those who are interested in China counters, especially since they had done extremely well in the past week, you may want to check out these 10 companies.

4. Bio-Treat Technology - use of biotechnology for waste and wastewater treatment in the PRC.
5. Bright World Precision -Company as the stamping industry forms the backbone of many manufacturing industries including automobile, hardware, electrical appliances and electronics
6. C&O Pharmaceutical - engages in the research, manufacture, marketing, and distribution of pharmaceutical products, as well as in the distribution of third party pharmaceutical products primarily in the People’s Republic of China.
7. C&G Industrial a leading Chinese maker of functional yarns and polyester fibre, industrial bi-component fibre, an important raw material for manufacturing environmentally friendly adhesive-bonded cloth and non-adhesive synthetic cotton.
8. Celestial NutriFoods - a wide range of soybean protein-based food and beverage products. products are sold under our renowned “Sun Moon Star” brand name and supplied to both the consumer market and to industrial users.
9. China Angel Food - mooncake, pastry, as well as snack and other food products - are mainly marketed under their own brands, namely Angel , QiWang and WangFuLai.
10. China Aviation Oil - Jet fuel importer, in the news for derivatives related loss.
